2026 TEXAS NUTRIENT MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION SHORT COURSE

Location: Scotts Miracle-Gro Facility for Lawn and Garden Research

The course will be 1.5 days of in-person classes, concluding with half a day for the proctored exam.

Course will cover:
- Soil nutrient dynamics
- Managing fertilizers, animal manures, and bio-solids for land applicatoin
- Soil sampling, testing, and interpretation
- Tools for calculating and developing nutrient management plans
Upon successful completion of the course, multiple choice test, and practice nutrient management plan, the participant will be certified in the state of Texas to construct and/or review nutrient management plans.
